About Us
Our family consists of six main people. We have two adult females, two adult males, one male teenager, and one seven year old boy. For your convenience there is a small rundown of all people listed below.
Ashtyn (Age: 33 – Female – Full-time Blogger/Writer, College Student)
I have been reviewing things for quite some time. If I have an interest in it, I am more than willing to offer my thoughts. Things I am most interested in include kitchen items, home products, food (and chocolate), books, entertainment items, electronics, fashion products and home decor.
Nana (Age: She won’t tell, but she’s a grandma. Retired)
Nana is willing to give her input on just about anything. She loves makeup, fashion items, skin care products, anything anti-aging, and stuff for the home. She doesn’t usually write her own reviews, but she is the one testing the products and explaining her thoughts and feelings about how well the products work. (Note: She’s not all that technologically savvy, which is why she does not write her own reviews).
Dominick (Age: 31. Blogger, College Student)
Dominick loves to review just about everything. He loves getting new clothes, electronics, and is a video game freak. If you don’t believe me you can find his game blog at Gamerrazzi. Dominick helps me write most of the movie and general product reviews, so even if his name is not on the review, chances are, his opinion is in there somewhere.
Uncle K (Age: 42. Bodybuilder)
Uncle K is a fashion hound. Anything you have to pamper a man or make him look good, he’s up for trying. He especially loves cologne, clothes, and skin care products, but he’s open to other ideas, too.
CT (Age: 17. High Schooler/Homeschooled)
CT has been homeschooled since 2nd grade. He is more than willing to help us review clothing, electronics, gadgets, books, and other age appropriate goods for a teenage boy.
Lil B (Age: 7. Elementary School)
Lil B loves to play with toys. He’s also enamored with pirates, which is what he plans to be when he grows up. He likes reviewing toys most, but every now and then he plays along and will try on some clothes for us or do other reviews if we ask him nicely.
Review Policies:
-In order to review your product we require a physical product that does not need to be returned. We do not offer “free” advertising in the form of reviews. We cannot provide reviews for loaner products. If you wish to have a sponsored post written the cost for that can be found in our media kit.
-We do not charge for reviews other than the free physical product.
-Reviews will take a minimum of 21-28 days to complete unless otherwise noted.
-All costs in shipping an item will be paid for by the company sending the review.
-All giveaways will be shipped by the company providing them unless other arrangements are made.
-All reviews will be posted on the LI Reviews Facebook Fan Page, two Twitter accounts, Stumbled, and Google Buzzed (at minimum)
-All reviews will include pictures and video if video is available.
-All reviews will be a minimum of 350 words, though generally more like 500+.
-At least one link will be added in to each review, though more if logically possible.

Household Items: (Sylvania Light Bulbs, Scent 4 U Fan, Dropps)
Movies/DVDs/TV Shows: (Saturday Morning Cartoons 1960s, Volume 1, G-Force, Monsters, Inc., Up)
Toys: (Play-Doh Spaghetti Factory, Spider-Man Laptop, Liv Dolls, Plasma Car, LEGO Toy Story Army Men, Zhu Zhu Pets)
If you represent something not listed but that fits in the niche of family and children, we would be more than willing to consider your pitch!
*Please Note: While we occasionally do mention products that we are not reviewing, these products rarely come from PR pitches. You can send us your press releases if the items in question are not for review, but there is no guarantee that we will have the time or interest to write about them unless we are reviewing them.
**Additional Note to Christian/Religious PR Professionals: At LI Kids we try to keep things as secular as possible. We will review Christian or religious products but we are not Christian. Please keep that in mind. If we feel the product attempts to sway a child towards religion we will mention that. We understand if you do not want us to review your religious based products because of that fact. If the product has nothing to do with religion we will not bring religion up, but if it does we offer a clear and honest view of our thoughts.
