The following disclosure statement should fill you in on how things are done here at LI Kids. The purpose of this statement is to be upfront and honest about how things are done, the way our reviews work, and the methods in which we allow for advertising.
LI Kids is a personal blog that is written by a small handful of people. If you have any specific questions about a post or the blog in general you can use the contact form and someone will get back to you relatively quickly.
Before getting into specifics please note that LI Kids currently allows for and accepts paid reviews, links, and other forms of advertising, as well as sponsorships. In order to create the best site possible we rely on the advertising options, sponsorships, and donations available to us so that we can build this site full-time.
For more information on advertising and reviews please see each individual section below.
Advertising
While LI Kids does allow for advertising we try to be as selective as possible. If we do not believe in a product or claim, we generally will not allow that advertiser on our website. That being said, we cannot be responsible for the content found on our advertiser’s websites or the experiences that you might have with their company. If you have a truly horrible experience with someone, feel free to let us know and we will consider that when filling our ad spaces.
Reviews
The majority of the reviews done here at LI Kids are done with products provided to us by the companies that make the products. While we receive these products for free, we do work for the reviews and consider them a form of compensation. We do not work with companies that expect only good reviews because we are honest at all times. We test out the products to the best of our abilities and write about our experiences, interest, and opinions where the product is concerned. We are always 100% honest whether we are reviewing something from a PR agency or that we paid for ourselves.
The opinions and reviews stated within this blog are the sole opinions of the writer that wrote them. What you choose to do with those opinions is completely up to you.
