Getting the Pretty Back by Molly Ringwald makes the perfect gift for any female that is more familiar with frump than she should be. Being pretty is a state of mind, not a number, and Ringwald seeks to help you find your pretty! This is a charming read and it comes highly recommended.

Cum Laude by Cecily von Ziegesar ends up feelings like a hollower, slower version of Gossip Girl for an older audience. Fans of GG won’t have much to love about Cum Laude. Fans of the guilty pleasure, college novel will probably feel as if they want a little more, too.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future By Michael J. Fox proves to be a charming and entertaining read. Littered with stories and lessons from Fox’s life, this book offers something for everyone. It is enjoyable, short, and warm. All that being said, it’s also highly recommended.

Jane Buckingham lays it all out in The Modern Girl’s Guide to Sticky Situations. No sticky situation is too tough. This is one of those manuals that all girl’s need to own. Buy one for yourself and share it with those girlfriends of yours that haven’t bought their own yet!
