LI Kids is a blog that was started to offer reviews and opinions about the best (and worst) family and kids products on the market. The blog is mainly written by Ashtyn and occasionally a male review or opinion is tossed in by Dominick, our resident “Daddy” Blogger. At times, friends will review for us and guest posts will pop up, but the blog is mainly written by the two aforementioned parents.
The review panel (the main family reviewing) consists of Ashtyn (33 year old Mommy/Blogger/College Student), Dominick (31 year old Daddy/Blogger/College Student), CT (17 year old male), Lil B (7 year old boy) and the occasional Nana and Uncle when the product suits them and not us.
We are proud to say that we have worked with a number of big and small companies and forged some great relationships. We hope to continue to offer some excellent reviews and giveaways for our growing group of readers.
LI Kids currently focuses on reviews for the kids and family. As one of our children (CT) suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome and Bi-Polar we will occasionally do a review for products that claim to be able to help these problems and the kids that have them. Along the same vein, because Dominick has a muscle disease we try to incorporate at least a small note on how disability friendly the item is for the child or adult in your family.
All of our reviews contain tidbits and information about us so hopefully you will be able to see the person behind the blog through our posts. Occasionally we will also add posts about ourselves and our experiences, so if you don’t learn enough from our reviews, these side posts should fill you in with all you need/want to know and more!
Note:
One of my resolutions for the New Year (2012) is to be more open on this blog in order to share my life with my readers in an attempt to get to know all of you. That being said, I have decided to post more personal posts and plenty of recipes to go with the usual reviews, movies, and television posts
