I love The Hub. When it comes to cartoons, my favorite network used to be Boomerang. While I still watch Boomerang, The HUb showed up and began rocking my world almost immediately. Everyday feels like it’s Saturday morning in the 80s and 90s. Even though many of the cartoons airing on The Hub have been modernized, the network does have some classic episodes that they air and they have a host of sitcoms that will keep you laughing when they break from airing the cartoons (usually in the late night hours).
If you haven’t checked out The Hub you need to. If you’re not sure what you’re missing, these are the 10 shows you need to start watching (or re-watching) on The Hub!
These are in no particular order.
10. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic
Your kids will love this version of My Little Pony, but if you watch it with them you will quickly learn that you probably love it, too! This was not just made for the Bronies that have taken over the show and celebrate it with a zest that only comes from obsessed fan boys. I rarely appreciate a cartoon that has been updated, because they usually mess it up. That’s not the case here. These hyper, lovable, and loyal ponies should be celebrated. In fact, they are one of the few modern cartoons meant for younger kids that make me happy. In a time when cartoons suck, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic rocks the television like it was made in the 80s.
