Review: Sunglass Warehouse

Lil B just turned six years old and for his birthday he got plenty of presents. Right before his birthday I entered into an agreement to review a pair of sunglasses for kids from Sunglass Warehouse. We also reviewed an adult pair over on LI Reviews (check it out).

In the past I have always found it hard to find a nice pair of sunglasses for the little ones. I don’t know if I’ve just been heading to the wrong places or what, but I always end up seeing the overly childish, bordering on cheaply made, sunglasses. Sure, it’s nice to get a deal, but if it means having to buy six pairs over one summer then I’d rather just pay a little more for one good pair.

With Lil B, who is a worldly six years old, I knew I would need a more sophisticated style. That is not to say I was looking for something adult, but I did know that character-covered glasses weren’t going to fly with him nor would the cheaper looking plastic options. I won’t say that he’s a budding fashionista, but the boy knows what he likes.

So I found him a pair that reminded me of the Batman style. They fit close to his face and offer smooth contours. He loved them the minute he laid eyes on them and that was really what was most important to me, since they were one of his birthday gifts this year.

Sunglass Warehouse offers 22 different pairs of sunglasses for kids. The pairs range in price from $7.61 to $11.01. Lil B’s pair, the SW Kid’s Sport Style #199 (in Black) cost $8.46. Lil B tends to be a more rough and tumble kind of kid, so he needs tougher products because he bangs things up like a stereotypical boy. So far, these have taken small beatings and kept on going. He wears them often and loves to have them with him on those sunny, summer days.

Sunglass Warehouse offers the ability to shop for the right pair of sunglasses at a price that you can afford. Sure, most sunglasses are affordable, but with these you aren’t going to be driving around town until you find the right pair. You can go shopping from your desk, find the right pair, and buy them just like that. It really couldn’t be easier.

While the selection for kids is a little on the lighter side, there are many options for both Women’s and Men’s sunglasses. With the available options you shouldn’t have any problem finding great deals and the perfect glasses for everyone in the entire family.
