Some of you know (and some of you don’t know) that in just a couple of short months I will be moving states with the family so that Dominick and I can finish college. Dominick will be attending film school with plans to direct and I will be finishing my Psychology degree and am considering a Masters program after that. Needless to say moving is a daunting task and I want to make it a fun one. I am also hoping to make it fairly interactive. So, we are turning our big move into a blogging event!

We are hoping to reinvent our new living space and make our new apartment a trendy and livable home. To do this we are going to be working with a number of great companies that offer products for the home. We’re looking for more companies to work with too, so if you represent someone feel free to let us know! The event will take place in September, though posts will begin sooner than that. The event will include teaser posts, reviews, video, and so much more. Keep reading for you’re interested!
What We Will Be Doing for the Event:
-Teaser Posts: All companies we work with will receive a teaser post when we initially receive confirmation of their item or when we receive it after shipping
-Reviews: All items we receive will receive a review (with pictures)
-Videos: We will be filming each room as we move in and then again once it has been decorated. We will be showing off all items that we have received and offering video demonstrations for cooking and cleaning products.
-Buying Guide: All items will be placed in a Home Buyers Guide which will be posted in late September
-Advertising Opportunities: We will be offering free or reduced advertising to the companies offering larger ticket items. Options include sponsor banner spots, text link ads, and series review posts.
Note: Sponsoring an item only requires a company to provide the item free of charge. No money will be changing hands for this event.
If it goes into a home we are hoping to feature it. We are especially interested in furniture, kitchen items, small appliances, bedding, and decor for a teen boy’s bedroom. Of course, we will consider anything you want to share with us.
