Do you spend a lot of time on Facebook or Twitter? When you get on the computer, after you check your email what is the first website you visit? In case you haven’t guessed already, today I am thinking about social media. I am a Facebook user more than any other social media site these days. I have connected with many old friends so it’s logical for me to visit on a close to daily basis. I use Twitter quite a bit, too, though I admit it is not as much as I would like. I find myself visiting for brief spurts and then leaving for weeks at a time. With that in mind, I think I will be picking it up again now that the semester is over.
With social media taking over how people use the Internet for work and for play I thought it would be a good chance to connect with my readers. Do you use things like Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Friendfeed, and all of those other great sites? Are you an active Youtuber? If you are, we want to hear from you.
