Tropicana Juicy Rewards: First Rewards Update

March 25, 2010 No Comments »

Adidas Tennis ShoesI have been looking through the reward offers at Tropicana.com and trying to decide how to spend the points I have accumulated. Today I learned that for each carton of Tropicana I buy, I earn 3 points. This may not seem like a lot, but you can buy things for as little as one point. You can even donate some of your points to charity. One of the options is to save the rainforest.

While I will probably give up some points to a worthwhile cause, today I was on a more pressing mission. I need a new pair of shoes. When I began looking up reward options, one of the first options to come up was Adidas. Depending on the reward you redeem you get a certain amount off of a pair of shoes or apparel at the Adidas website.

I found a pair of shoes that I adore that are $70 with shipping. However, thanks to my Tropicana reward points I can take 4 points and get $10 off the new shoes plus free shipping, bringing my total cost to just $60. This is an amazing deal for some new tennis shoes, especially when the stores around here average $80 – $100 for similar new shoes.

On the Tropicana website you can search the rewards for your state or you can check out other states if you are planning a vacation. In Michigan, we have over 700 rewards to choose from! At the beginning of the upcoming school year we will be attending college in Ohio and I was even more pleased to find out that Tropicana has over 1,300 rewards available there.

If you’re a member of the Tropicana Rewards program make sure you visit the site regularly. In addition to adding and using points, Tropicana offers contests that you can enter. One of the current contest is offering some time in Vegas at the Harrah! I already entered and am crossing my fingers that I will win!

“I wrote this review while participating in the Tropicana Juicy Insiders Ambassador program by Mom Central on behalf of Tropicana. I received 12 free Juicy Rewards points and a $50 Visa gift card to use in redemption of the points and to facilitate my review.”
