Kelly Ripa and Electrolux are teaming up in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. This is a cause that is important to many women, especially those who know of or have family that have suffered from this terrible cancer. Understanding how pressing an issue this is and how important it would be to women around the globe, Electrolux has made it simple for women (and men, too) everywhere to pitch in and donate to help the cause, as well!
You see the picture of my (adorable) Lemonade Stand up above? Well I made that over at the Electrolux Website. It’s my Virtual Lemonade Stand! Over the summer you can visit Electrolux and design your own stand, too. They have a variety of colors and designs to choose from. They even have your choice of Lemonades to sell (virtually, of course).
If you’re wonder how a virtual Lemonade stand is going to help with Ovarian Cancer Research, the answer is simple. For every Lemonade stand that is opened at the Electrolux Website $1 will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund! You can also send friends and family over to see your Lemonade stand and have them donate some money, too. 100% of the donations go to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in both cases!
The best news of all may be yet to come though. If you’re like me and in desperate need of a new refrigerator, you could win a new one from Electrolux! That’s right…to help spread the word, Electrolux is giving away an elegant new French Door Refrigerator with Perfect Temp™ Drawer. You won’t want to miss a chance to win one of these gorgeous appliances!
Head on over to the Electrolux site and help spread the word about your Virtual Lemonade Stand! By taking less than a few minutes you can help add to the donations for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. This is a great way to have a little fun and still do something that matters at the same time!
