CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE:
Winners will be sent an email shortly after the end of the contest. To claim your prize all you will need to do is send us your address in a reply to the congratulation email that you will receive. If we do not receive a reply from you within three weeks, your winnings will be forfeited and your prize will be offered to another contestant.

Thanks to our love for reading and the fun of summertime we have teamed up with McGraw Hill to offer one lucky winner a prize pack of three readers to promote Summertime Reading!
We posted some great summer reading tips courtesy of McGraw Hill Author, Charlene Cobb. To enter all you need to do is leave us a comment with your best tip to get kids interested in reading. At the end of the contest we will compile a list of all the best tips and from there we will choose a winner!

Find a subject that the child is interested in and look for books about that.
Get kids books about their favorite interests – animals, trains, or whatever.
Look for books on a topic that interests them – like outer space say
My grandson takes books everywhere he goes. This would be a great gift for him.
Our Grandson is 7 and loves to read. He tend to be a bit overactive when he spends the weekends with his Dad, Stepmom and 2 little sisters, but he takes his books with him and reads to them. They all benefit.
My kids are required by our school district to read 10 books a year, including at least one over the summer so winning some new books would be great.
I bought a boxed set that I had read as a kid and am reading them to my kids this summer. Then they can read them themselves when they’re older.

These wold be great to have around our house
We keep a log of my daughter’s reading, including title, author, and favorite part. At certain milestones, she can go to the bookstore to buy whatever she wants. She loves going over them all and seeing how far she’s come, too.

i enjoy reading, so we have family reading time. its fun and we make trips to get new books from the library!! we also do a point system, the more they read on their own, they get prizes!!

When I see that one of my kids is interested in a certain subject, such as rocks or dinosaurs, for example, I will take them to the bookstore to choose a book or two on the subject. They appreciate that I am showing interest in what they like, and they can’t wait to tear into their books.
My son struggles with reading so this would be a great prize to help him on his literacy.

In our house, my son wants to read an hour or 2 a day, so it would be really nice to have some new books to read!

Kids follow by example, so they see their parents enjoying reading,and they follow suit. My four kids LOVE to read.
