Bindaboo Pet Gate

Bindaboo Pet Gates remove the pressure and frustration of worrying about a naughty pet or dealing with a troublesome baby gate. – Highly Recommended!

We have a Shih-Tzu that goes by the name of Oliver Twist. He is an active little man that requires a lot of attention because he has doggy ADHD. Part of his issues are similar to separation anxiety. What this means is that if Oliver is not getting enough attention you can be certain that he is going to be taking it out on us or anything he is able to reach. When you have a dog that you love, but is known for trying to defile anything he can get his little paws on, it’s natural to want to detain him.

We have used baby gates before with Oliver. These are generally the standard wooden models that you can find in your average Walmart. While these are inexpensive, they are often poorly made and they do not just open like a normal door. Instead, you often have to undo the pressure release that hooks the gate to the wall and remove it to get into the other room. Otherwise, you have to step over it to go back and forth.

Oliver is not a very big dog; he’s quite small actually, so these gates tend to work fine. The big problem with them is that they are not very aesthetically pleasing and they are a pain in the butt to step over or take down every few minutes. It’s also quite possible that a bigger dog would make these gates fall down. Oliver often is able to rattle the gate, so I’m sure a bigger dog would not have a problem getting it to come down.

Bindaboo Pet Gates remove the pressure and frustration of worrying about a naughty pet or dealing with a troublesome baby gate. Installation is as easy as pie because it’s a pressure system. There are no screws to go into the wall or any tools needed to set things up. Once you set the gate up its firmly in place and nearly impossible for you pet to move it. Oliver certainly couldn’t make it budge and from the looks of it, bigger dogs wouldn’t have a chance either.

The gate that we received for review from the nice folks at Bindaboo fits standard size doorways, though they also offer extender pieces to make them wider or taller gates based on your overall needs. I have to admit, the freedom that you receive from the various sizes is nice, but the thing I like the most is the open and shut gate.

We often try to keep Oliver in the kitchen because he causes the least amount of damage in there. However, my mother’s bedroom is on the other side of the house. She has to cross through the kitchen to get into the other rooms, so she spent a lot of time trying to climb over the gate. Now she just opens the door and walks right through. I don’t have to worry about her hurting herself or Oliver causing damage anywhere in the house by breaking down a poorly made gate. Bindaboo fixed a number of my troubles in just one shot.

If you have a pet and are looking for an easy containment system that gives them more freedom than a crate would, I highly recommend checking out Bindaboo Pet Gates. These gates look nice and should last for years based on their sturdy construction. They are the perfect solution for families looking to keep their four legged best friend on an invisible leash.
