The latest taffy delivery has arrived, but when Bessie bites into a piece of taffy she realizes that something’s not quite right. Determined to figure out what’s wrong with this new batch, she goes on a mission to uncover the sticky truth.

When Portia and Gwen discover Bessie’s unusual middle name, Bessie is horrified – not because she’s embarrassed, but because her middle name brings bad luck to whomever utters it. When the girls tell everyone what Bessie’s middle name is, awful things begin happening. Will Bessie be able to stop the mayhem before it takes over the entire city of San Francisco?
