The clothing for the dolls found at craft stores work perfectly, and I was also able to knit some items from AG patterns for this doll. I now have several books in the Fancy Nancy Series. One is autographed by both the author and the illustrator. The others are all autographed by the illustrator. I have met her twice. But was not present when the author autographed the one book for me (so have not met her yet). I have seen the Fancy Nancy doll at Target. The price of $39 is a bit much, but I will probably have her in my collection by the end of the week! I have seen the ones put out by Madam Alexander. They are priced the same as the one at Target. And look much the same too. But Madam Alexander has out a rag type Fancy Nancy doll, which Target does not have. You might think I am crazy but I love Fancy Nancy! Fancy Nancy might be a bit smaller in the waist then say the American girl dolls. Other then that, they should fit and of course all the accessories will work.
