I just took my two children to the Tale of the Mighty Knights Live last night in Albany NY. They seemed to enjoy it. However I was not impressed with the costumes at all. The costumes had open faces so you could see the actor and they did not look like the backyardigans to me. I spent a lot of money on the tickets and was not happy.

My almost 3-year-old loved "The Tale of the Mighty Knights."
He's run around reciting his favorite lines. His 5 year-old sister has been singing along and laughing at the funny lyrics.
Because it's been available on "On Demand" we've watched it almost every day since it debuted.
He was most upset when it had rolled off today. We'll probably put it on the wish list when it comes out in late Feb.
Maybe we're just rock-n-roll people, but this Backyardigans was a winner at our house.

My kids and I love the regular season of The Backyardigans. We love the clever old-school beats that have been slightly spun to make the sing-a-long songs and dances just that much more fun and "groovy"! However, the movie did not capture that at all. We found it a bit on the boring side and the dances didn't hold our interest at all. Instead of being the sassy dance crew we've grown to love, the dances were just mere movements with the hands and feet. The music was a bit on the rough side as well and therefore, also made the movie itself less attractive. Overall, not a good movie. We know that The Backyardigans have yielded much better 30-minute shows and feel like efforts for a movie could have been much better. We'd like to see the producers go back to the proverbial drawing board and try again.
